My marketing career erupted like a volcano (literally).
When Mt. St. Helens erupted in Washington State, ash blew across the Pacific Northwest for miles. To raise awareness, my sister and I brought vials of volcanic ash with us on a family road trip that summer, selling them for 10 cents each at rest stops and open markets along the way. And, they went like hotcakes!
So - we raised the price and sold more.
Perhaps it’s not surprising that I ended up spending two decades helping purpose-driven companies like GE, Microsoft, DreamBox Learning and DexCare to spark extraordinary growth.
